About
From a young age, I have been passionate about fashion. My journey began in high school, where I started sewing and creating unique outfits to showcase in the hallways of my small-town school.
In 2008, I discovered millinery through a series of classes at George Brown College in Toronto. I was immediately captivated. Hats combine sculptural artistry with expressive design and practicality—a combination that resonated deeply with me. Their rich history fascinated me, and once I began making hats, an entirely new world opened up.
To refine my craft, I later studied under Anya Caliendo in New York. This exploration of millinery allowed me to create custom hats for clients, teach classes in New York and Toronto, and showcase my work in stores and online.
Beyond millinery, my passion for clothing continues to evolve. I take great pleasure in altering and customizing garments, enhancing their fit and elevating their style. I have also expanded my sewing skills to include creating custom-made clothing, which has been featured on stage and in editorial publications.
